BotBard is designed so you stay in control. AI proposes changes; you review and approve them. Your live WordPress site only ever changes when you say so.
Draft preview first
Every change is prepared on a private draft preview. You see exactly how it looks before anything reaches visitors — your live site is untouched until you decide.
Publish only on approval
Nothing goes live automatically. Changes are applied to your real site only when you review them and click Publish.
One-click rollback
Not happy with a published change? Roll it back in a single click. Draft previews and rollback exist so an unwanted edit is easy to recover from.
Hosting compatibility check
On connect, BotBard runs a filesystem preflight and tells you clearly if your hosting or theme files aren't writable — so you know before you start, with no surprises.
Least-privilege access
Your site holds a single, revocable connection credential — no shared password. You can disconnect at any time, which immediately revokes access.
Secrets stay server-side
AI processing runs on the BotBard backend. The plugin never ships AI provider keys, and the browser never talks to the AI backend directly.
Payments handled by Paddle
Billing is processed by our payment provider, Paddle. BotBard does not receive or store your full payment card details.
You own your content
You keep full ownership of your website and content. BotBard only accesses and modifies your connected site to carry out the changes you request.
Backups and recovery
Draft previews and one-click rollback help you recover from an unwanted edit, but they are recovery aids — not a replacement for your own backups. We recommend keeping regular backups of your website, as you would with any tool that can change site files.
